In North Macedonia, we have many cats and dogs in temporary foster care waiting to be rehomed. Some dogs and cats are harder to find homes for because they are less 'desirable' to many. They are beautiful, happy characters. Unfortunately they are not pedigrees, not puppies or kittens. They spend longer on the streets and in kennels because nobody wants them. We offer them safe refuge, good food, love and proper healthcare until they find their forever homes. Please help us by sponsoring a cat or dog with monthly costs.

Ambra

Ambra is a 1 year old neutered female who has been in the care of Meow Paws since she was a tiny pup. She was part of an abandoned pack of dogs left behind by a group of travellers. She was rescued with her mother and siblings. They all had fleas, mange and were starving. Worse, they had Parvo. Her brother died.

That was how her life started. She has been cared for in kennels for the last few months but no one is interested in adopting her. If you can sponsor her with a regular monthly donation, please click below.

Azra

Azra is a one year old neutered female with full vaccinations, passport and a great smile. The smallest of the Treska Lake litter, she has had a rough start in life and truly deserves a loving home now.

Its really not fair for them just because they were not born white and fluffy and are no longer puppies, their chances for finding homes are small.

The whole first year of her life spent in kennels.

Atos

Atos is the final one from the abandoned litter at Treska Lake. He is one year old, neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated with a passport ready to travel to his forever home.

He is a playful, gentle boy, medium sized (17kg) and enjoying playing with the other dogs in the kennel. He and his litter mates Azra and Ambra had the worst start in life: born on the street, sick and starving (his brother didn't survive). He is safe now and has become a happy, healthy boy. Sky

Sky is one year old neutered female. She has suffered such a lot in her short life, which has made her very fearful of humans, but not at all aggressive.

She was beaten very badly and suffered a broken jaw, damaged teeth and damage to her left eye.

She has been in the care of Meow Paws for many months now and has had several surgeries. She is fully healed now but remains in the shelter.
